Google has just planted a sweet Santa revenge as NORAD Tracks Santa ditched Google Map and jumped on to the Microsoft’s clan. That’s right, after NORAD replaces Google Maps with Bing Maps earlier in December to track Santa, Google came up with its own bunch of Santa Tracker tools. And Google aptly named ‘Santa Tracker’. On Wednesday, Google has confirmed its own set of Santa Tracker that incorporates its Google Maps and Google Earth. In addition to this online Santa Tracker tool, it has elicited two more big guns: an Android app Google Santa Tracker to even its score on mobile space with NORAD Tracks Santa and a Chrome extension.
Google Santa Tracker
Google has claimed that it has dedicated a team Google Maps engineers to devise a “new route algorithm” to enable users track the big man in red throughout the world on Christmas Eve. Users will be able to track Santa using Google Santa Tracker starting from 2:00AM PST on Christmas Eve. You can find Google Santa Tracker at Google.com/SantaTracker.
In addition to tracking Santa, Google Santa Tracker tool will enable you to ask Santa to call anyone you want. This Santa Tracker tool is powered by Google’s Gmail to allow you call Santa to call any person from your Gmail contacts.
Other two Santa Tracker tools from Google are –
Google Santa Tracker Android App
Google enables you to extend your online fun of Santa tracking experience to your mobile device and for this, Google launched Google Santa Tracker app on Google Play. As Santa will jump on its sleigh on Christmas Eve, you can launch this app on your Smartphone and tablet to track where Santa is going to give gifts to children.
Santa Tracker Chrome Extension
Its Santa Tracker Chrome extension is another online tool. You can install this Chrome extension from Chrome Web Store. Use this extension tool in order to follow countdown of Santa’s departure play with elf bus, and also write messages on a frosty browser window.
Other than these three Santa Tracker tools, you can also get updates on his trips from Google+, Facebook and Twitter.
