Is technology a part of your social life? Have you ever visited online dating sites or checked on somebody on Google, before going on a date? Are you prompt to change your relationship status on Facebook?
Some of us still believe that our love life has nothing to do with technology around us. However, according to the recent survey data from Match.com for digital dating is stating a completely different story.
The research was conducted on more than 5000 single and married men and women, taking data about their dating habits. As per the survey, it seems like women reach out online to do their pre-date check. 48% women look for a partner on Facebook before they go on a date as compared to men.
Facebook also seems to be the biggest threat to their social lives. So, before starting on a new relationship, 26% single men and 27% single women clean up their Facebook wall. Young men and women in their 20s are especially particular about keeping their Facebook walls neat and tidy.
