How to Add Signature in Microsoft Outlook
It is quite easy to add signature in Microsoft Outlook. First, click on the â€˜Toolsâ€™ menu on the menu bar. Then, click â€˜Optionsâ€™ and â€˜Generalâ€™ tab. Next, click the â€˜Email Optionsâ€™ link, and then the â€˜Email Signaturesâ€™ tab. All you have to do now is to fill in the body of the signature in the text field titled â€˜Create your email signatureâ€™.
Different types of Signatures
For a professional signature, it is helpful to add your phone number and other contact details to your signature. You could add a quotation or company motto, as well. For personal use, you may include your e-mail address. You are also free to add pictures and images, and virtually everything which can be displayed in a HTML enabled e-mail server. Then, click on â€˜Addâ€™ and there- you have your signature ready.
If you want to create another signature, click on the â€˜Newâ€™ button. Repeat the steps that you followed for the first signature. You may continue to add signatures until you are done.
Other E-mail Servers
In case you are not using Microsoft Outlook, look up menus and commands such as â€˜Toolsâ€™, â€˜Options â€˜or â€˜Sending Mailâ€™ to find the appropriate place to enter a signature.
For Gmail, click on the â€˜Settingsâ€™ or â€˜Account Setupâ€™ link. Enter the signature of your choice, and press the â€˜Contextâ€™ button next to the Text field. Select the â€˜Applyâ€™ link to enable your signature.
