Is there a website that you really fancy and like to browse through it every day? You could be a chef reading through new recipes on the Internet on a particular website, or want to follow the latest trend or discount offers a fashion website offers, or you could even be someone who is actively involved in a social networking website like Facebook or Twitter. Let us save you the time and hassle of typing in the website’s name in the address bar every time you want to visit the same.
All modern web browsers give an option of allowing their users to save their frequently visited web pages as Favorites or Bookmarks for easy access in future. Favorites are basically links that give you one-click access to your preferred sites. The process of creating bookmarks is easy-to-follow. See for yourself by trying out the guidelines mentioned below. Different browsers could have a different procedures but not with much variance.
Open your web browser
You could be using Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome or any other web browser. Just open the browser window and navigate to your loved site that you would like to add to your Favorites.
Bookmark the website
On top of the website to be bookmarked, where you see options like File and Edit, there should be an option called either Favorites or Bookmarks, depending upon your Internet browser. Click the Favorites/Bookmarks option.
Name your Favorite/Bookmark
On clicking the Favorites/Bookmarks option, you will see a pop up (probably with a default name for the Favorite). This pop up lets you rename your link as whatever you would like it to be.
This completes the process of adding web pages to Favorites. You may now go to another website and click on the Favorites/Bookmarks bar to confirm that it is working fine. Now you have quick and easy access to your most preferred websites. Congratulations!
