The RSS is the food to gulp massive quantity of news. That’s why, I love Google Reader to add and organize galore sources for RSS feeds. Many among my acquaintances have left Google Reader to pick up latest news on Twitter. The reason why I didn’t abandon Google Reader yet is to be able to pick elaborate coverage of the news that Twitter is not capable of providing. Another reason why I love Google Reader is that I can access it from my iPad (and iPhone too) from the Reeder news reading app.
If you want it all, both social feeds and RSS feeds then, I would recommend you to get an iPhone app called Flipboard that tracks them all. It displays news from Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram too. Get Read It Later to save and read later, LinkedIn Today to sort and pick industry based news.
These news reading tech tools give me a fresh start like my first sip of caffeine in the morning. If you would like to be served with fresh news every morning and always, then make use of these tools to get the flow of latest news coming on your way as soon as they are live.
I use Google Reader to keep track of the websites and blogs I follow. It is really excellent
