Certainly CES 2013 is not all about 4K UHD televisions, large Smartphone or Android-based cameras. Especially if you are passing by the showcase of CTA Digital at CES 2013 you might nod that the Consumer Electronics Show is mostly about innovation. No matter whether it is wacky or useful, gadget manufacturers and suppliers left no stones unturned in stealing and turning heads with their bit of innovation. For example, CTA Digital has announced a gadget which is intended to facilitate potty training for kids and parents with a plastic potty with an iPad stand! But, would parents actually include an expensive iPad into short-lived regimen of potty training? Would this innovative iPad accessory really aid in toilet training?
Do you want it?
The product supplier surely wanted to make potty training a bit easier for parents, with the plastic toilet with an iPad stand. Developers must be thinking that with an iPad stand added to traditional plastic potty, parents can alleviate the difficulty of keeping children seated for long by letting them stare, swipe and tap on the iOS device. Moreover, parents can presumably get kids acquainted to and engaged in technology with kids-focused entertaining content on iPad. iPotty also comes with plastic splash protection that will cover parents’ iPad.
Are you expecting a dedicated app to come packed with this device? Disappointingly, developers have not included a dedicated app for this device.  However, parents can use any other apps available for potty training or kids’ entertainment from the iTunes App Store.
Do you think inclusion of an iPad would facilitate potty training for kids and parents? Would you find it absurd or useful – drop your comments below.
