After the US president Barack Obama, Facebook is bringing talk show queen Oprah Winfrey for a Facebook Live chat. The first time, Oprah Winfrey will take the seat of an interviewee instead of an interviewer. The live streaming video interview will take place at the Palo Alto office of Facebook in California. The event has been designated as ‘Facebook Live with Oprah Winfrey’ which is scheduled at 4.30pm EST and 1.30pm PDT. She will be interviewed by Sheryl Sanderg, the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook. With this live streaming interview show Oprah Winfrey will join the clan of prestigious visitors to be interviewed by the Facebook at its Palo Alto headquarter and those include previous US President George Bush and the current president Barack Obama.
Have you ever dreamt of Oprah Winfrey to answer to your questions? Well, if yes, then you can simply post your questions at the Wall of the ‘Facebook Live with Oprah Winfrey’ event page. While watching the live streaming of the interview, your question could be picked for Oprah to answer it. Isn’t it amazing?
According to a reliable source, Winfrey has also additional plans in tow apart from appearing for the interview. Oprah will also meet representatives of tech-industry to discuss about the impacts of social media for her Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). She also has plans to attend the ‘exclusive’ dinner events held for women of the Silicon Valley with the Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg. Winfrey met Sandberg earlier this year during Allen & Company’s mogul meetup and they came to the terms of friendship then.
Winfrey’s website already has a Facebook fan page which has scraped up traffic of 6.3 million users. She also has a fan follower base of 7.2 millions on Twitter that boosted traffic of her website by 24%. With this interview meet at the Facebook and meeting with tech people, she will further leverage the power of social media to boost the traffic of her website.
