How to Get More Likes on Facebook® Pages

Likes on Facebook Pages

“How to get my Facebook page liked” – is a serious concern of all businesses who are trying to tap sales prospects through social media. But, fans do not naturally come to your page. Worse, even if they land up, they may leave your Facebook page without clicking on ‘Like’ button. You have got to drag or entice people to like your Facebook page. Many a times visitors like posts on your page, but do not like the page. Though likes and comments on posts may fetch you some popularity, but that way you will not be able to accumulate the popularity your business need.

You can adopt the hard way of writing a post on the Facebook page that you created and ask every visitor to like your page. That way, your visitors need to click on the page, visit the page and then, they can click the ‘Like’ button – isn’t it a lengthy process to get Facebook Likes? Would you do it for other pages? However, there are some smarter ways to compel people to like your page. And those work.

#1. Tag your Facebook Page to your status posts

This will work when you ‘tag’ your business Facebook page instead of giving the link of your Facebook page. When you tag your company Facebook page with an ‘@’ symbol, a small window of your Facebook Page will appear in hovering over the tag with a Facebook ‘Like’ button. Thus, they can simply like your page without having to visit you page – the easier it is for your visitors to like your page, the faster and the greater number of fans you get on your page.

#2 Drag people from other pages

Become a fan of other pages in your niche. Know your audience and Facebook pages they frequent to and read posts. Now, post comments by tagging your page in the comment, post a link to your site on the comments. Target on niche Facebook pages drawing thousands and millions of followers and be the first one to write comments on the posts. But, remember not to post too many links and tags so frequently. Start interacting and conversing with the people who write comments below yours. More you interact and establish your name among those niche audience, they would start liking you and visiting your Facebook page.

#3 Allure people to become fans by announcing contests and deals

Intrigue your niche audience to win something, entice them to win prizes or bestow sumptuous deals on tangible products or services by liking your Facebook page.

Also, refer the link of your Facebook page in your other social networking profiles and activities. If you have a likeable, prize grabbing Facebook page, then include in other social networking profiles such as Twitter account, LinkedIn account, Blogger and of course, to your website. Also, add a link of your Facebook page in e-mail signature section and if you are a guest blogger, ask the blog owner to put a reference to your Facebook page in the author bio.

Along with these rules, you should also refrain from committing following blunders to risk your chance of getting likes on Facebook page.
