Facebook has announced an improved photo sharing and viewing experience for Facebook profile users. The social network now allows Facebook profile users to showcase larger stream of photos and group all photos in one place. This enhanced photo streaming view on Facebook would sure churn more photography enthusiasts who want to shoot photos to share (or flaunt?) on Facebook?
How will your photos look on Facebook.com?
Your photos will look big as soon as you click at the top of the timeline. Once you click, your Facebook photos will swell and span across the page. You can highlight the photos that showcased those photos that either showcased your photographic talent or photogenic face. For this, you need to adopt the same simple step to click on the star button. The odds of your friends to miss your photos would surely plummet with such significant chubby show of photos.
A New Layout
The social network behemoth has announced a redesigned version for displaying photos to enable its Facebook profile users to organize their photos better. Users will get greater control over photos and will be able to decide on important photos that require more prominence. Your friends will view a more organized layout wherein photos are arranged in the sections of photos you were tagged, photos you have shared on Wall and album of photos so that they can easily switch in these three options. Earlier, your friends had to scroll down the page and they would lose interest and with this new layout with categorized section, highlighted photos and larger exhibition of important photos. Also, any photo that you highlight at the Facebook Timeline page will be automatically highlighted in the new Facebook photo page.
According to Emily Grewal, the spokesperson of Facebook, this redesigned photo page will roll out soon. What do you think of this Facebook improved layout and features?
This sounds great! I wonder though about photos that were resized, will they look bad?
No. photos will swell into the maximum resolution at which they were captured. hence, photos will rather stand out, but are not likely to look bad on Facebook photo page. By the way, I must say that your photography blog is outstanding, amazing photography.Great to hear from you and found your photography blog. Keep up the good work 🙂
