Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have thin edges of 6.8mm and 7.0 mm respectively. These lightweight phones weight just 138g (S6) and 132g (Edge). These phones run on Android 5.0 Lollipop version.
Samsung has brought in the world’s first 14mm mobile processor with 64-bit octa-core chip, new LPDDR4 memory system and UFS 2.0 flash memory that offers better performance and enhanced memory, speed and consumes less power. Both the smartphones will offer lightening fast charging feature that is available with Exynos chip. With this feature, users can charge 30% battery in just about 30 minutes.
Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge also include built-in wireless charging by using WPC and PMA standards, which includes QI. Though, Samsung will be selling its own charging pads, the S6 phones will also be compatible with other chargers as well. This will provide users flexibility and ease of use.
The Good
A bigger screen, an enhanced camera, appealing looks and vibrant colors seem to be attracting large number of mobile users. The tech specs appear promising too and going by the success of the Android-Samsung combination, these two smartphones already appear to be ‘big hit’ among fans.
The Bad
Though, both the phones appear to be the smartest phones launched by Samsung yet, the drawback is that they are not waterproof! This might be a disappointment among users.
