Geotag a Photo on Flickr® from Yahoo!

First login to your Flickr from Yahoo! account and locate the ‘Organize’ button at the top of the page. Click on it to open the ‘Organizer’ page. At the top left corner of the ‘Organizer’ webpage, you will notice a list of choices that start with the ‘Batch Organize’. Scroll to the left as you need to click on the fourth option named ‘Map’. On clicking on the ‘Map’, you will be directed to a world map in the middle of the ‘Organizer’ page. Click around the map to spot the place that you are looking for. Narrow down on the location by clicking on your mouse. Choose a fairly specific location on the map or an actual intersection of streets there. Or else, you can go in for a specific city.

Next, locate the photo in your Flickr from Yahoo! photostream you want to geotag. You will notice thumbnails of all photos at the bottom of the Organizer webpage. Simply, move to the photo you want to geotag, click on it and drag the thumbnail on the map. You need to place the thumbnail on the exact location on the map you spotted. Now, as you drop the photo on the map, it will be geotagged with the city or the location you have pinpointed. Thus, you geotag a photo on Flickr from Yahoo! and a small white box (like a comment box) will appear to refer to the location the photo was shot. Add a distinct dimension to your photo by using the Geotagging feature of Flickr from Yahoo! Click your imagination and geotag the picture for best exposure on the Internet.
