Finally the D-Day is about to dawn and yes I mean, the Valentine’s Day. I have crafted some creative DIY gifts that I shared with you earlier, but I still feel something is missing. Unable to keep the secret inside, I divulged the large, picturesque photo canvas I made. Though it seemed it warmed his heart and he was glistening with the warm glow of affection, happy me!
But, the joy of throwing surprises is still elusive. Sensing that I had nothing to surprise him and what I could do at the last-hours before Valentine’s Day, I turned to Internet to quickly garner some tech tips and ideas on the best ways to surprise him and make this Valentine’s Day special –
Valentine’s Day Special Desserts
Sweets and chocolates are the fail safe items to make his heart grow fonder and sweeten a special day. Desserts are the perfect food to gratify the graving of our sweet tooth. Though I already bookmarked the Lindt website for making Valentine’s Day desserts, but I took chances to find more video tutorials of V-Day delicacies at YouTube. I stopped at this YouTube channel, ‘Valentine’s Day Recipes from Next Chefs’ that contain 15 Valentine’s Day special unique dessert recipes. Voila!
iTunes
Like desserts and chocolates, music melts heart and turn stubborn heart to flow gushing emotions of love. And Valentine’s Day special romantic mix of love songs does magic in making someone feel really special. Also the effects of a thoughtful mixtape last longer and throughout the year, beyond this one day. When it comes to music, iTunes and Spotify are two most favorite tech tools I rely on always. Why not? After all iTunes and Spotify let me create an album of his and mine favorite songs, rent or buy romantic flicks to watch and regale the Valentine’s Day evening. I also landed up on Netflix to shortlist a bunch of romantic drama, Rom-Com (larger-than-life mush that does wonder on Valentine’s Day), some tear-jerkers and especially ‘The Vow’ that I am eyeing on.
foursquareÂ
foursquare came exceptionally handy by showing me places and lists of romantic actovitie snad places worth jaunting on Valentine’s Day. I also noticed that this social network has workable tips for both singles and couples to plan for a Rendez Vous Romantique. Wow, how feasible it is to plan for a date and surprise sweet love with foursquare?

Lovestagram
Lovestagram unfurls a romantic inspiration in its making. This romantic slideshow of Instagram photos is written and developed by Kaitlyn Trigger, the girlfriend of the co-founder of Instagram. The app is designed to make the Valentine’s Day card using Instagram photos. I signed in the app using my Instagram login credentials and then typed his username. All the frames are cute and love themed and the frames take your Instagram photos and place in a still frame or all photos in one frame. The app works simply great. I wish she would come up with such romantic photo collage cards for other occasions like birthdays, holidays etc.
Ain’t them cute? Along with these, I purchased some Valentine’s Day special gift cards from Amazon for him to spend on anything he wants on Amazon. Thank God, now I am all prepared with my choices on Valentine’s Day small surprises – I am excited and assuming how he would be reacting by finding each one at different places and time. Finger crossed!
