Like any gadget aficionado, the 2012 International CES also attracted a friend of mine to join the program. Tired, but he sounded highly excited as he was sharing overwhelming experience at the show. No sign of exhaustion could be audible from his voice as he went on sharing what he witnessed, what amazed him the most and about some life changing home gadgets launched at 2012 International CES. And I felt his geeky excitements contaminated me and resulted with a similar degree of enthusiasm which started bubbling in my heart as well. So, I decided to share what I felt about those newly launched gadgets that can improve our lifestyle â€“
Samsung Wi-Fi Video Baby Monitor
After the show of the 2012 International CES has kicked off, this new entrant from Samsung at the 2012 International CES has caught attention of many parents and nerds. Samsung has launched this new baby monitor dubbed as Samsung Wi-Fi Video Baby Monitor that combines three main features of a baby monitor that are

- advanced technology and
If you are struggling parenthood without use of any technology, then it is time to be open to parenting gadgets. Start with this gadget for the sake of the security of your baby.
How it works?
When you leave your baby with the caregiver, this Wi-Fi enabled baby monitor placed on the table would provide you with third eye to keep a watch on your baby. The gadget is linked to several free apps on iOS and Android platforms to help parents see their children from their handheld devices. The device can pair with the home Wi-Fi network with one touch button and can add as many cameras you want. The non-visible infrared LED is powerful enough to show you things in complete darkness.
Nest Learning Thermostat
We always notice that thermostats at those vacation rentals and hotels in white or beige color mounting on the wall. They are so small that we are completely oblivion of their existence unless we feel the need to adjust temperature. Well, the 2012 International CES witnesses launch of this new thermostat called Nest Learning Thermostat.
How it works?
This is so small and looks like just a basic dial that changes color to notify the change in temperature. This new digital thermostat called Nest Learning Thermostat turns blue as while cooling and changes to orange when it is heating. The device is designed with motion tracking sensors that is able to detect entry and exit of people in the room to adjust temperature and save energy.
Along with this thermostat,Â some more small-yet-sweetÂ home gadgetsÂ appeared at the 2012 International CESÂ are
- 60-watt World Bulb that uses 85% less energy at the cost of US$ 15
- Bracketron Stone GreenZERO Charger that will not draw electricity once your gadget will be fully charged and
