Higher the score you set, greater the odds will be to get your name shouted from Guinness Book of Records. This is all because of the partnership of Guinness World records with a company named Kiip. So, will you be interested to do something greater than just taking pride in you among peer group or winning some freebies for setting a commendable score? Let’s get to know how to do it.

Courtesy to Kiip, talented iPhone game players have got a chance to flaunt their talent to the world. Kiip is a startup company that started conferring mobile game players with the real world rewards for their achievements. Back in April, 2011, Kiip came up with this idea to assist game developers to induce lucrative prizes to talented players. It enabled some mobile game developers to ally with advertisers in order to boost the gamers’ enthusiasm by awarding them with freebies and some gift coupons as players would reach a preset level in those games.

Presently, Kiip has gone an extra mile to evolve its goal of making in-game accomplishments and making gamers’ accomplishments a bit more rewarding. The company partners with Guinness World Records to make players set world records by getting their names listed in the Guinness Book of World records. The company announces a world record competition which will be held on Mega Jump iPhone game application, from September 28, 2011 onwards from 9pm PT. The competition will continue for five days.

John Wong of Kiip said that “At Kiip, we have built a completely new ad model around achievement moments. We wanted to obtain the ultimate recognition for that moments that fuel our network. And what is more realizing than the usual world record.”
