Once again it is the time of the year when mobile devices manufacturers come to Barcelona, Spain with their offering of new range of mobile phones. Yes, just a couple of days to go to Mobile World Congress welcome visitors and exhibit the next generation of mobile phones. All mobile device biggies are ready to capture its niche with Smartphones and tablets. So what are the most awaited Smartphones at the MWC 2012?
Let’s check out the devices at each booth of mobile phone giants –
Samsung  Â
I may sound a little too biased when it comes to this Korean mobile device manufacturer, Samsung since I am totally impressed by my new Samsung Galaxy Note, a hybrid of Smartphone and tablet. That’s why I was looking forward to its Samsung Galaxy SIII, but it Samsung officially confirmed that they will not launch the gadget at the MWC 12. Disappointed? Don’t be. Samsung has lined up some other handsets for S3 fans like its recent Galaxy S Advance, Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, Samsung Tocco Lite 2. Two more Smartphones are already announced earlier that are Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and Galaxy Ace 2. That means, I can get a hands-on taste of these two devices.
HTC is rumored to unveil three new mobile handsets that are HTC One S, HTC One V and HTC One X – undoubtedly, the most awaited handsets from HTC at the MWC. However, height of excitements mainly cloud around HTC One X among these three. What previously was known as HTC Endeavor is now making a re-entry with a new name, HTC One X. The Taiwanese mobile device manufacturer clamors high-end spec sheet for One X. The handset is said to feature Nvidia Tegra 3 1.5GHz quad-core processor, Android version 4.0.5 of Ice Cream Sandwich plus along with HTC’s 4.0, and a mammoth 32GB of internal storage plus 8MP camera. HTC One S which was previously known as HTC Ville enters the MWC booth with similarly high-end features including 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android Ice Cream Sandwich mobile OS, 4.3-inch HD display, 1GB RAM, 8MP camera with full HD video capture plus Beats audio.
The Finnish mobile manufacturer is likely to nab the show with its latest Windows Phone inventory. Handsets that I am expecting to see at the Nokia booths are Lumia 900, Lumia 610, and Pureview 808 (a camera focused phone with its own Symbian OS).
If you are an LG fan, then you are likely to get a taste of its raft of new mobile handsets that are LG Optimus 3D Max, Optimus Vu (a Galaxy Note killer?), Optimus 4X HD, its L-Style range of phones (L3, L5, L7), a Windows Phone that could be named either LG Fantasy or  LG Miracle. Leading handsets emerging in MWC 2012 are big in size besides they are no lesser in terms of powerful processor and OS and megapixel count. But, 2012 would surely be the year of large handset with 4.5 to 5.3 inches. Has Smartphone evolved to be a hybrid of tablet and phone?
