Is V.Reader from V.Tech a Kindle for kids?

Vtech V.Reader Animated E-Book Reader

If your kid is between 3 and 7 years of age and is demanding an e-book reader, you can conveniently try out the V. Reader from V Tech. This e-book reader blends education, fun and technology altogether, to enable your kid to have loads of fun while reading. The reader has a clear touch-screen and a QWERTY keyboard. Other features of this V.Reader are earphone jack, ability to toggle on/off the music and volume controls. The package also includes an USB cable.

How does V.Reader work?

If you have downloaded a story from your Windows-based PC or Mac notebook, you can transfer the content from your PC to V.Reader using a USB cable. Once you store the story on the reader, you will need a stylus to touch the ‘Backpack’ icon. Your kids can now hear the story as it will be narrated in a slideshow fashion. They can touch a word and hear them aloud. The reader is coming up with more stories for download that include Disney/Pixar’s Cars, The Little Engine That Could, Shrek, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Disney Fairies, Dora the Explorer and Mr. Men. These stories could be downloaded from the official website on your Mac or Windows PC. Now plug the reader to the computer with the USB cable and place all downloaded stories on V.Reader.

What will your kids love about V.Reader?

The V.Reader attracts children to the device and encourages story reading with colorful animation, cute voices of the characters, expressive narration of the story, sounds and graphics, and melodious music. Your children will slowly be engaged into the stories with techniques that combine reading, viewing, and learning. While listening to their favorite character’s voice, kids can play reading games and access story dictionaries to instantly look for meanings of words they do not know the meaning of .

The ‘touch-and-read’ system of V.Reader gives kids many options for entertainment and learning; they can listen, touch the screen, play reading games, learn words and enhance their vocabulary skills.
