A new study and an Infographic published by Online Schools present some new perspectives on who are more active online parent – online moms or Dad 2.0?

The lowdown

According to this study and the infographic of OnlineSchools.com, ‘proud papas’ are gradually emerging to rub shoulder with mom bloggers and social media moms. The report concludes that gone are the days when dads would hardly take active part in parenting duties such as feeding children, taking day-to-day care, changing diapers etc. what moms were usually found to be carrying out. But, times are changing fast and dads are now found to perform these parenting tasks as well.

“Diaper commercials no longer just feature mom and baby…new ad campaigns feature dads in a variety of baby care, shopping, and cooking scenarios.”

According to the study, a new age dads Dad 2.0 generation is rising who are shrugging off old school parenting to embrace modern parenting roles.
