Which Laptops and Computers Will Debut at CES® 2013?

computer-ces-2013CES 2013 has electronically charged us to dream of next-generation gadgets including computer and laptops. Windows 8 has already knocked us with a whole new range of sleek hybrid range of laptops. Hence, we are waiting to see some more high-performance and elegant Ultrabooks, laptops and computers.

Before a new dawn of computer and laptops breaks at the CES 2013, let us sneak a quick glance on latest upcoming gadgets to debut in this segment.

More touchscreens

Windows 8 has already taken us with a huge number of hybrid ultrabooks which unfold its display from different angles and styles. Starting from January 8, 2012 we anticipate more old-fashioned clamshell and sophisticated convertible tablet-styled laptops. Have you liked Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 at the CES 2012? Then, you will see a lot more laptops from the behemoths such as Samsung, Toshiba which will open up its touchscreen displays like a slider which we have not seen as of now.

IVY Bridge CPU

As traditional, bulky computers and laptops are giving a way to sleeker and palm-friendly convertible Ultrabooks, tablets and emerging series of “Phablets”, CES 2013 may unveil a new bunch of laptops with higher efficiency. Intel has plans to launch Ivy Bridget CPU which is likely to aim at enhancing mobile computing. This chip is already preloaded in Apple MacBook Air and Windows-based Ultrabooks which are clocked at 17-watts. An upcoming version of Intel Ivy Bridge with 10-watt may debut at CES 2013 for tablets.

AMD is not far behind

With Intel is expected to capture the market at the CES 2013 with its future version of 10-watt CPU, AMD will not be far behind. Consumer Electronics Show 2013 will introduce several generations of CPUs and GPUs from AMD.

Computers and tablets from LG

If you are looking for some glossy, stunning and state-of-the-art Windows 8-based computers, then head to LG. LG will debut different ranges of computers including ultrabooks such as H160, Z360  and Z160, All-in-ones such as LG V325 with a touchscreen display.

Other notable improvements expected at the laptop and computer segment of CES 2013 are Intel Haswell-powered laptops, higher resolution portable touchscreen monitors (with perhaps full-HD capability) from major manufacturers including Dell, HP, LG, ASUS, Acer among others. I guess IVY Bridge CPU will be the major one. Also AMD will be just behind them.
